Thank you for your interest in applying to the Master of Jewish Education – Pardes Day School Educators Program at Hebrew College. Please read these instructions carefully before completing your application. Selection of Candidates

Admissions decisions are based on a careful review of a candidate’s completed application, credentials, supporting documents and appropriateness for the degree program. Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a GPA of 3.0 or above. Hebrew College admits qualified students without regard to age, sex, religion, disability, race, color or national origin.

Application Submission  

Interested students must apply to both Hebrew College and the Pardes Institute. The admissions departments of both institutions communicate to evaluate student applications. Additionally, the institutions communicate regarding administration and academic and student services.

You are responsible to ensure that all of your application materials are received; we welcome calls or emails from candidates regarding the status of their applications.


Application deadline is January 31. Extensions are granted on a case-by-case basis.

Application Checklist

All applicants must submit the following materials:

  • A completed, signed application form.
  • A nonrefundable application fee of $50.
  • Official transcripts of all undergraduate and
    graduate studies from accredited academic institutions. Please have
    official copies of transcripts forwarded directly from the issuing
    institution to the Office of Admissions.
  • Copies of essays written for the Pardes
  • Hebrew College will receive copies of your
    letters of reference from Pardes.


The interview is an essential and required part of the application process for all Hebrew College graduate degree programs. This is an opportunity for us to get to know you and for you to learn more about the college and program for which you are applying. You may conduct your interview via phone, Skype or on campus.
